Abstract
In order to achieve the high accelerations mentioned above, high-dynamic actuators capable of performing within a restricted space are required. Such actuators – developed at the Technical University of Munich – were selected, optimized and integrated into the test bench. In principle, each actuator is similar to a hydraulic cylinder with two oil reservoirs, both separated from each other by two membranes that simultaneously hermetically seal the reservoirs.
