This issue, which is open to a wide range of topics, brings together a variety of perspectives on interpretative school and classroom research. Most contributions relate to the field of teaching and school practice, some deal with patterns of interpretation and habitus development, others with the discursive thematization of teacher actions. These fields reflect not only the current discourse of interpretative school and classroom research, but also the thematic breadth in school pedagogy and subject didactics.
